What Your 2004 Honda S2000 Warranty Covers
Every new Honda, including the S2000, comes with a Factory Warranty, also known as a Manufacturer’s Warranty. Automotive warranties can be confusing, so we’ve created this warranty guide to help you determine if your S2000 still has warranty coverage, what type of warranty you have, and what parts the warranty covers. For example, you might have a Factory Warranty or a Dealership Warranty. Does your warranty cover items like tires, paint, or batteries? We’ll help you find out.
Remember, warranty durations are listed in time or mileage, whichever comes first. For instance, a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty expires in three years, or when you hit 36,000 miles in less than three years.

It did not cover emissions control systems, accessories, batteries, or tires. Those components came with separate warranties. Exclusions also applied to damage from everyday wear and tear, cleaning services, and most window glass damage. As of 2022, this warranty is expired.
