The 2007 Honda S2000 New Vehicle Limited Warranty didn’t include damages due to abuse or neglect, low fluid levels, or vehicles used in racing events. This warranty also excluded emissions control systems, normal wear and tear, fluid changes, broken or chipped glass, cosmetic repairs, or cleaning.

2007 Honda S2000 Powertrain Warranty

The 2007 Honda S2000 was covered under a Powertrain Warranty for five years or 60,000 miles. This warranty covered the engine, transmission and transaxle, and rear-wheel-drive system of the 2007 Honda S2000.

The warranty didn’t include repairs due to abuse or neglect. The 2007 Honda S2000 Powertrain Warranty began on the same date as the New Vehicle Limited Warranty but has now expired.

Corrosion Perforation Warranty

The Rust Perforation Limited Warranty covered repairing or replacing damaged body panels from corrosion for the 2007 Honda S2000 for five years with no mileage limit. It has since expired.

This warranty excluded surface rust, rust on repaired or replaced body panels, rust from abuse, and rust from road hazards. The warranty also excluded paint-matching services.

Air Conditioning Warranty

The 2007 Honda S2000 didn’t come with a separate Air Conditioning Warranty, but it was covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Air conditioning refrigerant recharging was included in the New Vehicle Limited Warranty as well for one year, but this has now expired for the 2007 Honda S2000. Coverage for air conditioning systems of the 2007 Honda S2000 might be available under an extended warranty.

Paint Warranty

The 2007 Honda S2000 didn’t come with a separate Paint Warranty. Some paint defects might have been covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, but this has expired for the 2007 Honda S2000.

Battery Warranty

Original equipment tire manufacturers for the 2007 Honda S2000 include Yokohama Tires, Michelin Tires, Goodyear/Dunlop Tires, and Bridgestone/Firestone Tires.

Emissions Warranty

The Federal Emissions Warranty covered the 2007 Honda S2000 for three years or 36,000 miles. The Federal Emissions Warranty covered emissions-related parts, including the exhaust system and ignition system.

The Federal Emissions Warranty didn’t include failures or malfunctions to the emissions systems from abuse or alteration, accidents, replacement of maintenance parts, or loss of vehicle use. Some 2007 Honda S2000 vehicles were instead covered under the California Emissions Warranty for three years or 50,000 miles. Limited emissions parts were covered under warranty for seven years or 70,000 miles, but this has now expired for the 2007 Honda S2000.

Additionally, the Clean Air Act requires manufacturers to cover the catalytic converter, engine computer, and onboard diagnostics for eight years or 80,000 miles.
