Factory Warranty
2014 Honda Crosstour Basic Warranty
The 2014 Honda Crosstour had a three-year, 36,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty that started on the original date of delivery to the first owner or when it was leased. It covered the repair or replacement of most parts that were defective or had poor workmanship.
Exclusions applied to damage from everyday wear and tear, cleaning and polishing, and most window glass damage. As of 2022, this warranty has expired.
2014 Honda Crosstour Powertrain Warranty
The 2014 Honda Crosstour had a five-year, 60,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty that covered the repair or replacement of the engine, transmission, transaxle, and front-wheel-drive system (all-wheel-drive system for AWD models).
As of 2022, this warranty is expired.
Corrosion Perforation Warranty
The 2014 Honda Crosstour had a five-year, unlimited mileage Rust Perforation Limited Warranty that covered the repair or replacement of any body panels rusted from the inside out.
As of 2022, this warranty is expired.
Air Conditioning Warranty
The 2014 Honda Crosstour air conditioning system was covered for three years or 36,000 miles under the Federal Emissions Warranty. Additionally, the New Vehicle Limited Warranty covered refrigerant for two years or 24,000 miles.
As of 2022, both warranties are expired.
Paint Warranty
The 2014 Honda Crosstour New Vehicle Limited Warranty did not cover paint. The Rust Perforation Limited Warranty didn’t cover rust caused by paint damage from road debris, and it didn’t cover paint matching or other paint services.
Battery Warranty
The 2014 Honda Crosstour New Vehicle Limited Warranty covered the repair or replacement of the 12-volt battery for three years or 36,000 miles. This coverage has expired.
Tire Warranty
The 2014 Honda Crosstour New Vehicle Limited Warranty did not cover tires. The tires that came with your Crosstour are warrantied by their manufacturer in a separate statement provided by the dealership.
Emissions Warranty
The 2014 Honda Crosstour had a three-year, 36,000-mile Federal Emissions Warranty that covered the repair or replacement of emissions systems that were defective under normal use. In California, the Emissions Warranty covered emissions systems for three years or 50,000 miles.
Additionally, specific parts were covered for seven years or 70,000 miles under the California Emissions Warranty.
Under the Clean Air Act, Honda was required to cover the catalytic converter, engine computer, and onboard diagnostics for eight years or 80,000 miles.
As of 2022, all Emissions Warranties are expired.

2014 Honda Crosstour Warranty Extensions Available Upon Car Purchase
A Honda Care plan was available for the 2014 Honda Crosstour if purchased from an authorized dealer before the New Vehicle Limited Warranty expired. This warranty extension covered parts such as the engine, air conditioning, and electrical system for eight years or 120,000 miles.
Honda Care plans are transferrable to subsequent owners, and your plan might still be in effect. To confirm you have Honda Care coverage, contact your local dealership and provide them with your mileage and VIN so they can look up your vehicle.
