Saving money on your car doesn’t have to happen only when you get it serviced. The fact is that most of us drive our cars everyday. So why can’t we save money everyday? Well… We CAN! And here is how!
1. Properly inflate your tires.
Most of us wait until that low tire pressure light comes on before we put more air in it. In order to get the most bang for your buck, check your tires frequently to make sure they are at the recommended level. This will make your tires last longer and it can save you money on gas by increasing your vehicle’s fuel efficiency.
2. Crank that AC down.
During a hot summer day we may be tempted to crank the AC all the way up, but that will use up more gas. When the temperature outside is pleasant enough, try rolling down the windows. This will save you money on gas and still keep you cool!
3. Stick to the manufacturers recommendations.
While it may make sense to cut some corners in the short term with things like engine oil, gas and even when you get your vehicle serviced, it could be costly in the long run! The manufacturer recommendations are meant to keep your car in peak condition. This means your vehicle will be more fuel efficient and prevent costly repairs down the road.
And don’t forget, the FIXD Sensor and free app can help you remember when your car is due for important maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations!

knew and practice these already – thanks
Thanks for the reminder on these tips.
Good advise, thank you
Too much window drag, if going 45 mph or more. May help, if only under that speed.
These things i already knew. Its a good reminder to all.
Already these things
Thanks, that was a few great suggestions.
Tip#2: Roll your windows down. Nope, for years now, cars are much more fuel efficient with windows up!
Just a comment on ur (ac) if you crank it (UP) you will use less of it!! Down makes it colder !! I know this is the way most people say it but it is w r o n g!! DAVE. Have a good day.
GOOD REMINDERS THANKS.
