2005 Honda Civic Factory Warranty Coverage:

2005 Honda Civic Basic/Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty

2005 Honda Civic vehicles are no longer covered under the Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty. You may find a warranty for sale from a third-party provider, but most no longer sell these warranties.
What’s Excluded From the 2005 Honda Civic Basic Warranty?
The 2005 Honda Civic Factory Warranty excludes emissions control systems, accessories, batteries, and tires. It also excludes normal wear and tear, cleaning/polishing, air conditioning refrigerant, broken or chipped glass, cosmetic concerns, and expendable maintenance items. The warranty doesn’t cover wheel balancing or wheel alignment after one year or 12,000 miles.
2005 Honda Civic Powertrain or Drivetrain Warranty
The 2005 Honda Civic came with a 3-year/36,000-mile Powertrain Warranty from the factory that covered mechanical components like the engine and transmission.
The powertrain and drivetrain on the 2005 Honda Civic are no longer covered. Some third-party providers sell warranties that may cover the powertrain or drivetrain on your 2005 Honda Civic.
2005 Honda Civic Warranty Extensions Available Upon Car Purchase
2005 Honda Civic warranty extensions were only available for sale before the Factory Warranty expired on your vehicle. There are no warranty extensions available, but you may find an Extended Warranty from a used car dealer.
An Extended Warranty can protect you from costly mechanical repairs. Some Extended Warranties only cover parts like the engine and transmission, whereas others may cover electrical systems.
2005 Honda Civic Extended Warranties Available Now
Honda doesn’t currently offer any extended warranties on the 2005 Honda Civic. Extended Warranties may be available through a third party.
